Use of the service

HotSpot is a location-based social app for discovering venues. You must be 18 or older to use HotSpot. You are responsible for your account activity.

Community guidelines & objectionable content

HotSpot has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not post, upload, or share content that is offensive, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, illegal, or spam, and you may not harass, bully, impersonate, stalk, or abuse other users.

You can report objectionable content or abusive users at any time from within the app (use the report and block actions on comments, profiles, and business listings) or email support@hotspotapp.co. We review every report and act on it promptly, typically within 24 hours, including removing content and suspending or terminating offending accounts. Blocking a user immediately hides you and that user from each other.

Check-ins

Check-ins are validated server-side using your device location. Attempting to spoof your location is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.

Business owners

Business owners who claim a listing represent that they have authority to manage that business. Fraudulent claims will result in immediate account termination.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
