What we collect

HotSpot collects your name, email address, phone number, and location data to operate the service. Location is used only to validate check-ins at venues.

How we use it

We use your data to show crowd counts at venues, connect you with friends, and deliver relevant notifications. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Google data

If you connect your Google Business Profile as a business owner, HotSpot accesses only your business management data to verify ownership. We store OAuth tokens encrypted and use them solely for verification purposes.

Data deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the HotSpot app. Account deletion permanently removes your personal data within 30 days.
